My husband was not going to go on our family vacation because he did not want to leave his "Lucy girl". He wouldn't even leave her with a family member who offered to keep her. So, after we visited Royal Kennels and saw the treatment the dogs would be receiving in our absence, he had no qualms about leaving her, nor did my daughter, leaving her dog,Tucker. They are brother and sister Golden Retrievers and they require a lot of exercise and attention. With both of them being as spoiled as they are, they won't eat their food without something "special" on it. Pam made sure they had their "special treat", that we provided, with all their meals. When we returned from our vacation they were happier than when we left. I would highly recommend Royal Kennels to anyone who is skeptical about leaving their pets for a day or a month. Pam is wonderfully and her dogs are amazing. everything about getting a dog from Pam was confidence inspiring and painless. I was visiting dog shows in California and a few other west coast states and Pam who lives nowhere near me kept being mentioned as the breeder to go to.
Hiro is not my first Shiba, so I've dealt with breeders before, but Pam comes across like a concerned mother more than anything else. Her dogs are LOVED, healthy, and happy. Here in California, Shiba people know who she is who have never met her. she's got a rep for breeding amazing dogs.
When I flew out to her to pick up Hiro she was friendly, warm and welcoming. I'm proud to have a royal shiba and very glad that Pam is his dog mom.

We met Pam at an obedience class in Milord. She was the trainer. She did a great job helping our shy Jack Russell gain confidence and learn to respond to our commands. I could tell that she has a real passion for animals and she always treated them with respect. When it was time to board Lucy for a week, we took her to Royal Kennels. Their facilities are really nice and they don’t have a lot of the hidden costs other kennels have.

Our dog Molly has given us so much joy! Everyday we talk about how lucky we are to have such a great dog. The care you have for your dogs is so evident and you practice what you preach. You are a responsible breeder who is also active in the rescue community. We’ve had Molly for almost 4 years now and she is as healthy as ever. Her behavior is also amazing. Uncharacteristically calm for a shiba, still stubborn haha! We are so glad that we met you and your dogs and would recommend anyone interested in a shiba to talk to you first!

Pam and Royal Kennels are in a league of their own when it comes to Shiba Inu breeders. We have loved Pam’s dogs and have been back to get a new dog from her for the past three years. We quickly went from a no dog family to having three of the best dogs in the world. From adopting a retired show dog to a wooly puppy, all of her Shiba’s are well mannered and the best dogs. Pam and The Royal Kennels have the finest line of shibas in the TriState area. She has been showing, training and breeding shibas for over 30 years. Her dogs are healthy, well tempered and beautiful. When you purchase a dog from Pam, you can meet the mamma and dad. She takes great care of her mamma dogs and puppies get to spend quality time with their siblings and mammas. We recommend her shiba’s if interested in a dog. We also recommend her kennels for a safe and healthy place for dogs when you’re traveling. It’s in the country, but we always have our dogs stay with her while we go out of town.

We love Pam and Royal Kennels!! We have been going there for over ten years! Poor Jasmine, our beagle-mix rescue, had been quite traumatized by her previous boarding experiences. Whenever we would drop her off for a stay, she would be nervous and shaky, and her demeanor when we picked her up was not much better. Things are completely different for her... in fact, we quickly renamed it “Camp Pam”. We even adopted a companion for her there- a Shiba-mix named Joe. Both dog have enjoyed all the visits with Pam and Dan (and Danielle too) We know they are treated like family and when we drop them off and pick them up, tails are wagging, and they are happy. They have been well cared for.

Our family lives within 5 minutes of at least 3 boarding places; however, although it is 35 minutes away from us we will only send our dog, Abby, to Royal Kennels. Having adopted her as a cruelty case tied to a tree and starved we were VERY apprehensive about boarding her at all and were very picky about where she went. Well, we never needed to worry! Whenever we pull up to drop her off Abby gets so excited and RUNS into the place wagging good bye to us with her tail. She doesn’t even look back. When we return for her she is usually playing with a couple buddies and is clean as well as very tired! Abby is usually asleep in our car within 2 minutes of picking her up. We call going to Royal Kennels visiting “Aunt Pam’s Camp” she loves staying there so much but can’t say this around her because she understands it and thinks we are going ‘now’. It is also very price competitive....wouldn’t think of taking her anywhere else.

Our two standard poodles absolutely love going to Pam’s camp! As soon as we pull into the Royal Kennel driveway they start getting all excited.We leave knowing that they are getting the best care available. It is very obvious that Pam adores animals. The kennel is clean and cool in summer and warm in winter. We highly recommend this “doggie hotel”. :-)

I have never used a kennel before. I found Royal Kennels online, read reviews and compared with other similar businesses. I decided to go with Royal. I can see why people refer to it as Camp for pets. Pam is excellent with animals. I boarded my 2 dogs for 5 nights and they are so worn out because they really had fun! They didn’t want to leave! The rates are really great too! I don’t have to pay extra for all of the little things that other places charge. I highly recommend Royal Kennels, will DEFINITELY use again!

Drake has turned out not only to be beautiful but an amazing addition to our family. He gets along perfectly with our older female shiba and although we don’t have any children is great with kids. He is very attached to us, has bonded well and is a wonderful companion. He has great recall and tolerates his baths and grooming very well. He is smart, well behaved and obedient. I could go on and on and tell you how wonderful he is but in short- I would take 50 more just like him. Thank you for everything you have added to our lives by breeding a great dog like Drake.
We purchased our puppy Kenji from Royal Kennels in Moscow, OH. I couldn't be happier with Pam at Royal Kennels. She is a fabulous breeder and does great with her breeding stock. Where can I start about Royal Kennels. Pam and Dan have done so much for my wife and I and all of our kids. We have had up to 6 Rottweilers or Rott mixes. Every time we leave town, Pan and Dan have kept our babies as they were their own. They have even helped out our rescue by boarding dogs when we had no place to put them. I wouldnt want anyone else keeping my kids.
